I chose to work in this field because it gives me opportunities to watch children grow and explore the world together!
In 2008,
I believe all children learn from play and experience, and that the early childhood education environment should be nurturing and safe but valuable for children, and that children direct their own environment. It is also important that children are be able to play, to explore and to learn independently. And, I believe every child should have the chance to go to preschool, so that they will be ready for the next steps and in their overall future. In addition, I believe that happy children come with happy parents.
Besides children, parents needs a safe and loving environment as well.
For teaching staff: supporting, appreciating, and trusting are important and should come from both parents and colleagues. Being a supervisor, I believe communication and trust are the most important key points.
As of today,
If a child's job is play,
My job will be to create an environment which is safe, is child-centered, is a place where children are allowed to be children, is for enjoying their lives, is to socialize with peers, teachers, and other professionals, is for play!
My job will be assisting each child to learn how to be a good person, to be a happy person, to respect others and respect him/herself!
My job will be guiding children on how to use their brains to play, to think, to be independent, to be creative!
My job will be sharing with children that they can be anything they want to be when they grow up!
